FRONT FORK
The telescopic front fork used on the Cruiser models is equipped with inside springs and the
double-acting hydraulic shock absorber.
The leading link front fork used on the Tourist and Patrol models use a front lever-type fork with
two interchangeable spring-hydraulic shock absorbers.
The friction type steering damper is made up of two steel washers, moving and fixed, two
fiber washers and tightening bolt with a head. Friction between the steel and the fiber washers
makes turning of the front fork more difficult.

cause steering instability. When properly adjusted the front fork should turn with just a hint of
bearing drag, but not free play or obvious resistance to turning.
