MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
CT1 is mounted on top of the DC motor and switches the motor on/off
MCB1 is a 4A Re-settable circuit breaker to protect the wiring loom from damage in
the event of a short circuit.
SW1 is the key switch for selecting Cage or Ground Controls or switching th e
machine Off. Turn to cage and switch set 2 closes, turn to ground and switch set 1
closes.
PB1 is the first emergency stop, mounted in the ground controls.
PB2 is the second emergency stop, mounted in the cage controls.
PB3 is the green motor run button in the ground controls. This button becomes active
after SW1 is turned to ground controls and the 4 outrigger limit switches are closed.
PB4 is the black boom lower button in the ground controls. This button becomes
active after SW1 is turned to ground con trols and the 4 outrigger limit switches are
closed.
PB5 is the green motor run button in the cage controls. This button becomes active
after SW1 is turned to cage controls and the 4 outrigger limit switches are closed.
PB6 is the black boom lower button in the cage controls. This button becomes active
after SW1 is turned to cage controls and the 4 outrigger limit switches are closed.
PB7 is the outrigger motor run button next to the outrigger controls. This button
becomes active after SW1 is turned to ground controls and the boom limit switch is
closed. Hydraulic outriggers only.
Boom limit switch must be closed and the booms down to enable the motor to start
to operate the outriggers, Hydraulic outriggers only.
The 4 outrigger limit switches contain 2 NC contacts, one set controls the 4 LED’s LP2-
LP5, the other set is wired in series. When all switches are closed power is connected
through SW1 to either control box.
RL1 remains open until the outriggers are under pressure and either boom lower

SOL1 is the coil on the outrigger diverter, when activated it allows oil going to the
outrigger control valves. Hydraulic outrig gers only.
SOL2 is the coil on the hydraulic diverter valve, when activated it allows oil going to
the boom/slew control valves. It must be activated for the boom and slew functions
to work.
SOL3 is the coil on the top boom cylinder lowering valve, when ac tivated it lowers
the top boom.
SOL4 is the coil on the bottom boom cylinder lowering valve, when activated it
lowers the bottom boom.
ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS DESCRIPTIONS
All wires are numbered as shown. Each wire terminal has the same number as the cable
attached to it.
The Battery can be isolated by pulling the Anderson plug next to the power pack.
