The belt must have such a tension, that it can be pushed by hands 5mm in both directions.
For this aplly pressure to each belt in the middle between the two pulleys!
Correct procedure for belt tensioning
1. Remove the belt cover plate
after loosening the screws.
2. Loosen attachment bolts
on the motor flange.
3. Loosen the lock nut
.
4. Raise the motor with the locking screw
until the required belt
tension is reached.
5. Tighten the lock nut
again.
6. Tighten attachment bolts
on the motor flange.
7. Fix the belt cover plate
again.
Attention: Risk of getting trapped between the belt and pulley!

•
Re-tension the tooth-belt after the first 20 hours of operation.
•
Make further checks once a month operating hours.
•
To ensure perfect power transmission it is necessary for the belt to be tensioned correctly. The
belt must not be too tight because this can cause damage to the motor, gears, hinges, joints and
mountings.
