Solving problems:
•
Turn off at the main switch and lock to prevent switching on again with a padlock.
•
Remove problem materials, solid object etc. from the cutting system.
•
Check cutting tools for possible damage and replace if necessary.
•
Before switching on the main switch secure that no person may enter the danger zone of
the machine
•
Switch on at the main switch.
•
The machine can now be switched on again.
9.6 Automatic shut down mechanism for foreign matter
Control of the machine is such that when problem foreign materials are present, the cutting system
reverses for a short period, then reverts to normal operational direction. Should there be a certain
number of reversals within a defined period the control of the machine stops (flashing of red lamp
on control cabinet).
How it works:
If problematic foreign matter is present in the load, the machine automatically
switches off, and the red light (STOP button) on the control panel lights up.
