TROUBLESHOOTING
Under certain conditions, performance of this unit may be adversely affected by factors other than
defects. If a problem occurs, please review the following list and take remedial action as needed. If you
cannot solve the problem after checking the entire list, please contact your local dealer for assistance.

The bulb is bright
but it is dark in

Field diaphragm is not large enough
Largen the field diaphragm
Polarizer or analyzer is used
Pull them out
The beam splitter is in the trinocular

Move the beam splitter lever to the binocular

The nosepiece is not in the right position
Turn the nosepiece into the correct position
Stain or dust has accumulated on the lens

The color filter, polarizer or analyzer is not
