Remote Setup
Remote Setup allows Unitec to program your Credit modem with you merchant account
information. Unitec currently programs credit modems prior to installation, which greatly
reduces the likelihood that you will require this information. Contact Unitec Customer Service
prior to implementing any of these procedures.
Your unit must be placed in “Remote Setup” mode to allow a merchant credit account to be
uploaded by a Unitec Customer Service Technician. This merchant account upload is
required for the initial installation as well as any time the credit modem is replaced or returned
for repair.
Follow the steps below to place your unit in Remote Setup mode.
1.
Using the toggle switch at the top of the CPU board, place the Wash Select II in
setup mode by moving the switch toward the back of the Wash Select II case.
(The CPU board is located on the inside right wall of the Wash Select II case.)
2.
Using the (3) key to scroll forward and the (1) key to scroll back, scroll through the
main menu until the "Credit System" option is displayed. Press the (*) key to
enter.

Use the (3) key to scroll until the "Remote Setup" option is displayed. Press the (*)
key to enter.
4.
You will be asked “Start Remote Setup?” Press the (1) key for Yes. At this time
the main display will read “Awaiting A Call Please Wait” at this time a Unitec
Customer Service Representative will be able to begin the upload.

Print Transaction Status

Using the toggle switch at the top of the CPU board, place the Wash Select II in
setup mode by moving the switch toward the back of the Wash Select II case.
(The CPU board is located on the inside right wall of the Wash Select II case.)

Using the (3) key to scroll forward and the (1) key to scroll back, scroll through the
main menu until the "Credit System" option is displayed. Press the (*) key to
enter.

Use the (3) key to scroll until the "Print Trans Stat" option is displayed. Press the
(*) key to enter. The “Credit Transaction Status” report will begin to print at this
time.

Print Credit Transaction History
The WSII holds information on the 500 most recent credit transactions. The oldest transaction
gets purged from the system when a new transaction is completed.
