What Options Do I Have?
To install the
external antenna,
just insert the
antenna plug into
the small gold
connector on the
built-in antenna.
The external
antenna is
magnetic, so you
can stick it on the
outside of your
car: the roof
usually works the
best. Run the
antenna cable
through your
car’s open
window (don’t slam it in the door!).

SING A HEADSET
You can use any standard 2.5 mm
audio headset with your GPS
device. A headset may make it
easier to hear the voice prompts on
a noisy road.
Just connect the headset to the
external audio jack on the right side
of the device, just under the USB
port.
Connect the
external antenna
to the device.
Route the
cable
through
your car’s
window.
Attach the
antenna to
the roof.
