3.5.7. Adjustment of Brakes

Inspect and adjust the air brake twice a year, before beginning the field work (i.e. using the
machine) or after the machine operator states any drop in the braking force.

Adjustment of the braking force consists of decreasing the idle stroke of the cylinder. Begin
from depressurizing the braking system, and then disconnect the lever (B) from the yoke (C)
and unscrew the yoke (C) towards the lever (B). Reconnect the system.

If the further adjustment of the yoke (C) is impossible, replace the position of the lever (B) on
the splined connection of the brake expander (A). You can do this step only once – if the
braking force continue to drop, begin adjustment from verification condition of the brake
linings.
CAUTION! THE SYSTEM IS PRESSURIZED!
