The   sprinkler   is

expected   radius

   

The   delivery   
pressure   to   the

nozzle   is   the   
incorrect   size   or   is   
clogged.   
   

Depressurize   the   
mainline   or   sub-­‐
lateral   piping   
before   attempting   
the   last   two   
possible   root   
causes   

   
The   bottom   inlet   
filter   is   clogged   with   
debris.   

Verify   delivery   pressure   with   a   
Pitot   tube   and   pressure   gauge   
while   the   sprinkler   is   operating.   
   
Is   the   operating   pressure   
matching   the   design   pressure   
indicated   on   the   drawings?      
   
Verify   the   nozzle   size   that   is   
molded   into   the   side   of   the   nozzle   
body.      Remove   and   verify   no   
debris   is   blocking   the   nozzle   port.   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
Disassemble   the   sprinkler   and   
remove   the   foot   valve.      Inspect   the   
inlet   screen   and   remove   any   
accumulated   debris,   then   re-­‐
assemble.
