iPod/iPhone cannot be operated.
Unavi system is not compatible with Apple devices through the control box.
If connecting to the factory USB/AUX port does not work, reconnect the iPod with the designated USB interface cable.
Park vehicle in a safe place, and turn off the engine. Then restart the engine, and turn the power back on.
Update the iPod/iPhone software version and/or check compatibility with the vehicle manufacturer.
Music, video, and/or image files in a USB disk is not loading on Unavi system.
The factory USB/AUX port will only be able to play MP3 files. Please insert USB device into the control box to load various
media files through the Unavi system.
For general information on USB device compatibility, refer to the “Using SD Card & USB” section on page 14.
For additional information on loading media files, please refer to sections 2-2, 2-3 and 2-5.
Unable to pair Bluetooth device.
*Please be advised that the Bluetooth system integrated with all Unavi system is part of the factory radio.
Make sure Bluetooth connection is enabled on the Bluetooth device and on the factory radio; Refer to Section 3-1.
Check whether the cellular phone is activated and make sure the distance between the Bluetooth device and the vehicle is
within 15 feet from each other.
Wait until the Bluetooth device is done registering and transferring phonebook (if applicable).
For additional information on using Bluetooth, refer to the Bluetooth device and/or vehicle Owner’s Manual.
The person on the other end of the phone call cannot hear the conversation (on Bluetooth).
Make sure to speak towards the built-in factory microphone.
Make sure the call is not put on hold or muted. Otherwise, hang up and dial again.
Deactivate Bluetooth connection from the cellular phone, then reconnect to the vehicle’s Bluetooth system.
If above steps do not work, contact your dealer or the nearest authorized Unavi service facility.
Steering wheel control buttons do not work properly or respond at all (only applies to radio control keys).
Make sure radio is powered on.
Make sure only one radio control button is being pressed at a time.
Unavi system may have overridden the steering wheel buttons to allow control of media player functionalities. To disengage the
system from this control mode, press and hold ‘Mode’ button on the steering wheel for about 3 seconds.
