SETTING UP BUTTONS TO CONTROL TV
The remote control has a set of programmable buttons that can be
set up to control your TV. Each button can get assigned one action
by copying it from your TV control remote.
1.
Press and hold the programmable on/off button for 5 seconds till
LED indicator is lit up.
2.
Press once the programmable button that you would like to set
up.
3. Place your TV remote control in front of the UMAX U-Box A9
remote control. The distance should be 3-5 cm and IR diodes of
both remotes need to face each other.
4.
Press and hold the button on your TV remote control of a
function that you would like to copy. LED indicator on the U-Box A9
remote control blinks 3 times . It confirms that the function is set up.
5. To exit the programming mode, press any non-programming
button on the remote control.
Note: The LED indicator blinks 5 times, if it is unable to receive a
signal from your TV remote. Repeat step 4.
