TACH LEARNING       MANUAL TRANSMISSION

Manual Transmission Mode

Note:

  Program switch #2 on control unit must be in “ON” position.

In order to start a Manual Transmission equipped vehicle:
Manual Transmission Reservation Mode must be enables each time.

Manual Transmission Reservation Mode.

Step 1

- Leave the Ignition Key in the “On” position (Car is still running).

Step 2-

  Press and hold the brake pedal, then press & release button #4.

    The system will respond with 1 siren/horn chirp & light flash.

Step 3-

  Turn the Ignition Key “Off” - the vehicle should stay running.

Step 4- 

Within 20 seconds open and close door (

Note:

  The door switch input must

    be hooked up).

Step 5-

  Within 20 seconds of the door closing, press button #1, the doors will lock

    and the vehicle will shut “off”.

Step 6-

 The vehicle can now be remote started by pressing button #3.

Note:  

If a door is opened, the brake is pressed or the ignition turned “on”, the

           vehicle will exit Reservation Mode.

Note:  

For increased protection, a Radar Sensor is recommended to protect

           anyone from getting near the gearshift if the vehicle is a convertible or if
           a window is opened.
           Connect the Radar Sensor through relay to the 

Green/White 

wire hood

           safety switch input

      Tach learning is optional. It is only necessary if the tach sense option is selected
    as the desired  start detection method. The black/white tach wire must be connected
    to a tach source. The following steps are also necessary  for tach  learning. 
    1. Dip switch 1 must be in the off position. 
    2. The Blue Loop Inside module needs to be cut.
    3. Unit needs to be programmed to tach mode. See sensing method in the program guide.

Programming Tach

Step 1. 

Enter Installer program Mode.( Ignition On,Off On,Off, On,  Leave  key On.

Step 2.

 Press the antenna button once. Siren and park lights will go on then off.

Step 3.

 Select Setting One. (Press the button # 2  twice. LED’s should flash in two’s).

Step 4.

 Press button # 3 then start the vehicle  with the key.

            The system will confirm tach learning by turning the park lights on and chirping 
            the siren three times. 

Note

: If system does not  respond, repeat steps as listed above. If unit does not learn 

change to a different  tach source. Fuel Injectors work best.
