Main primary UART interface
1.9.1.1
UART features
SARA-N2 modules include the
RXD

pins as main primary UART interface, supporting:

AT communication

FW upgrades by means of the FOAT feature

FW upgrades by means of the dedicated tool
The main characteristics of the SARA-N2 modules primary UART interface are the following:
•
Serial port with RS-232 functionality conforming to ITU-T V.24 recommendation
•
It operates at
VCC
voltage level
o
0 V for low data bit or ON state
o
VCC
, i.e. ~3.6 V, for high data bit or OFF state
•
Data lines (
RXD
as module data output,

as module data input) are provided

The
CTS
hardware flow control output is not supported by
