Gimbal Test Interface software
We understand the first thing you would like to do is pan and tilt the gimbal to confirm it works. This is also
a critical part of your product warranty. The Test Bench Kit and Gimbal Test Interface software provided
with your gimbal will enable you to test its operation on the bench.
For this reason we have supplied a copy of the Test Interface software on a USB key. There are also
comprehensive manuals relating to the software and a quick start guide. Please read the guide thoroughly for
installation and usage tips.
The software will enable you to perform simple commands, such as Pan, Tilt, Stabilize ON/OFF and Video
toggle.

Bench Kit
First time customers should have ordered and received a Bench testing kit. This includes a bench stand,
power supply, gamepad, and test cables. All you need to do is simply connect the serial port, power and
video feed and you are away.
You should attach your CM160 to the Bench Kit and test it to ensure the Gimbal is functioning correctly and
ensure that you are protected by the product warranty. It is important that you do this to ensure that the unit
has not been damaged during international shipment.
Information on how to mount the CM160 and use the software is included in your kit. Please refer to the
Bench kit Hook-Up Diagram for further information. [3]
