Operation
This tool is useful for resting over a vehicle fender without scratching or denting
the vehicle.
1.
Position the Top Creeper near the vehicle, and adjust the height of the Chest
Rest appropriately. For the Top Creeper to fit properly, the bottom of the car
must be a minimum of 3" from the ground.
2.
CAUTION: Caution must be used while positioning! Some sharp corners may
exist on this product that will damage the vehicle if not properly positioned.
Check all foam pads before use. Carefully adjust the Top Creeper, and ensure
that the Fender Protector (4) is in good condition to prevent damage to the
vehicle.
3.
Do not suddenly exert pressure or force on the creeper; it may move, causing
personal injury and/or property damage. Always make sure that the creeper is
firmly in place before using. Never exceed the 300 Lbs. maximum weight
capacity.
4.
The cover for the Chest Rest can be replaced. Please contact Harbor Freight
Tools for replacement.
Maintenance
1.
Periodically check all fasteners to be sure they are firmly tightened.
2.
Protect the cover of the Chest Rest (11) from damage. Wipe it clean if it gets
dirty.
3.
Protect the Fender Protector (4) from damage. Repair or replace the pad if it is
damaged.
4.
Occasionally apply lubricant to the axles of the Casters (12).
5.
The weight capacity of this tool is 300 Lbs. Do not overload this tool.
6.
This tool is designed to support a person while working on a vehicle. Do not
use this item as a cart or storage unit for tools or parts.
7.
Do not use this item for any aircraft purpose.
