MAINTENANCE

EMPTYING DUST CUP

1.  With power off and dust cup facing downward over 

trash receptical, slide the dust cup button forward. 

The dust cup will swing open. (See Figure 4) 

2.  Tap dust cup filter screen lightly to knock off dirt  

and debris. (See Figure 5) 

3.  Wipe dust cup bristles lightly with dry cloth to remove 

dust and dirt. (See Figure 6)

CLEANING DUST CUP 

1.  With dust cup open and power off, slide the filter 

housing forward to remove. (See Figure 7)

2.  With dust cup open, push release button.  

(See Figure 8)

3.  While pressing dust cup tab, lift off dust cup.  

Hand-wash with soap and water only. Let parts 

air-dry fully before reinstalling. (See Figure 9) 

4.  To reinstall, slide the tab on the dust cup into the slot 

on the bottom of the nozzle until it clicks into place. 

(See Figure 10) 

NOTE: Do not wash any parts of this vacuum  

or its accessories in a dishwasher. 

CLEANING THE FILTER 

1.  With dust cup open and power off, pinch both  

sides of filter housing and slide forward to remove. 

(See Figure 7) 

2.  Lift the fabric filter by the metal ring to remove from 

the housing. (See Figure 11) 

NOTE: To clean fabric filter, tap to remove dust 
and large particles. To deep-clean,  
hand-wash with water only and let air-dry for 

24 hours before reinstalling. 

NOTE: To clean filter housing, ensure filter is 
removed; then, hand-wash with water only.
