RECOMMENDATIONS

Sealer stops sealing and the sealing light does not 

come on.

The arm may not be activating the microswitch.

1.  Unplug unit.

2.  Unscrew rubber foot screws to remove bottom.

3.  Turn sealer upside down, and press down to see 

if activation screw extends to activate black 

microswitch button. You should hear a

TROUBLESHOOTING

TIPS:

• Always keep sealing platform clean. Do not use water 

to clean sealing platform.

• Only use ULINE replacement parts and service kits.

• A short circuit will occur if the bottom teflon cloth strip 

wears out. Check the bottom teflon tape for wear 

and damage when replacing heating element or top 

teflon cover. 

• A worn rubber pressure pad (under the handle) will 

influence the quality of the seals. The rubber pad 

should be periodically checked for uneven wear.

• If the bag seal is damaged or broken, it is because 

the heating time is too long. Reset the timer knob to a 

lower number. Reference Settings Chart on page 3.

• If the plastic bag sticks to the sealing arm, it is 

because there was not enough cooling time. Keep 

the arm down for a longer period of time after the 

light turns off.
