Strobe lights can be connected to standard or door entry intercoms to
provide visual indication when a call exists.
Advent XT2 Master Strobe Part No ’s: ZSL060 (blue) and ZSL065 (clear).
When connected to a standard or door entry intercom the blue strobe will
flash for 20 seconds when the intercom is called in warden call mode.
When connected to a door entry XT2 intercom the clear strobe will flash
for 20 seconds when the intercom is called in door entry mode.
DIL switches inside the strobe select if it flashes on a warden call or door
entry call and if it is connected as the main (primary) or extension
(secondary) strobe. Max 4 strobes per door entry intercom.
A second Advent XT2 intercom can be connected as an extension to provide
audio in another room within the same dwelling.
Use a 6 pair CW1308 cable between the master and extension intercoms.
If the master intercom is a standard type then the extension should also be a
standard intercom, if the master is a door entry type then the extension can be
either a door entry type or a standard type (if door entry functions are not
necessary on the extension). Only 1 extension can be connected per intercom.
Other auxiliary devices e.g. pullcords, smoke detectors etc. are normally
connected to the master.
