An example of the menu item selection process and menu item parameter change is detailed below for the
contrast menu item.
1.
Press
MENU
to enter the menu mode.
2.
Press the
ramp control until the display shows:
M E N U
CONTRAST

Press
MENU.
The contrast menu item is activated and the display will be similar to the following:
CNTRST = X
Y Y Y Y Y Y Y Y
Line 1 shows the active menu item and its current parameter setting (XXX). Line 2 shows the
currently selected system or group name (YYYYYYYY).

The menu item's parameter setting shown in the display can now be changed by using the
ramp control to scroll through the list of parameter values. Once the desired setting is reached, press
MENU
to store the value and return to the normal display. For menu items that display radio
information, use
to scroll through a list of informational displays. The menu items are listed in
Table 9-4: Menu Item Information
