Refit the lens carrier to the pcb assembly in the ‘ZL’ (Zone Locator)
position shown in Figure 5.

Walk in front of the detector. Mark the maximum sensitivity point for
each lens segment by observing the brilliance of red light through each
lens segment. The lens is focused where the light appears brightest.

If necessary, adjust the PIR surveillance pattern by loosening the lens
clamps on the lens carrier and turning the lens in the appropriate direc-
tion within the carrier. Ensure that the lens clamps are tightened before
retesting the lens pattern.
Note: Where the optional wall mounting bracket is used, the complete detector
pattern (PIR and MW) can be adjusted.

On completion of the lens adjustment, remove the lens carrier and set
the Zone jumper to the trbl position if trouble monitoring is required. If
trouble monitoring is not required, leave the jumper parked on one pin
only.
