Infra Red Sensor
Dual element pyroelectric detector, hermetically-
sealed.
Microwave Supervision
In the event of a microwave section failure, super-
vision circuitry reverts unit to PIR only operation
and causes PIR to convert from Single Edge to
Double Edge PIR operation. The Alarm/Test/
Trouble LED will also flash if programmed for
Trouble. Detector pcb Trouble output also operates
with open collector to 0V.
RFI/EMI Immunity
The unit will not alarm when subjected to RFI/EMI
signals of 1MHz to 1GHz with a field strength of 10
Volts/Metre.
Fluorescent Tube
Immunity
An 80W 1.83m illuminated fluorescent tube posi-
tioned 0.5m above and 2m in front of the detector
will not reduce detector performance.
With tube switched on for one minute, then off for
30 seconds, a total of five times, the detector will
not alarm.
LED Indicators
Red LED selectable for unit Alarm/Trouble. Green
LED for PIR detection. Yellow LED for MW detec-
tion.
Mounting
Quick start screw facility for flat wall mounting.
Provision for corner mounting in 90 deg. corner
between walls or between ceiling and walls.
Optional wall bracket available providing horizontal
adjustment of ±90°.
