WARNINGS AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General
• IMPORTANT - Read the instructions carefully before use and KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
• The Twinny Multi Trailer is intended for the transport of children, as a bicycle trailer, as a sidecar or as a
pram. Any other use will be regarded as unintended use.
• The Twinny Multi Trailer is suitable for children from 12 until 36 months old (with child safety seat from 6
months old) with a maximum height of 105 cm (41 inch).
• The rider of the bicycle should be at least 16 years old.
• The maximum total load, including the child and other items (shopping etc.) is 22 kg.
• Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death.
• Never leave child unattended.
• Do not use if any part of the product is broken, torn or missing.
• Use of non-Twinny Load accessories or packages may create a hazardous or unstable condition if
placed on the product.
• Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those approved by Twinny Load.
• Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires,
etc. in the near vicinity of bassinet/carrycot.
• The handles and the bottom of the bassinet/carrycot should be inspected regularly for signs of damage
and wear.
• Always use the restraint system.
The bicycle to be used
• For mounting the patented B-connect coupler, the bicycle should have a standard fixing point for a
stand without any obstructions at the front or rear. Not suitable are for example bicycles with an electric
motor in the crank shaft and bikes with an extra low access.
• The rear wheel should have a size of 26 or 28 inches.
Using the Twinny Load Multi Trailer
• Before the start of every journey, firmly tighten the rotary knob of the connector between the bicycle and
the Multi Trailer.
• Before the start of every journey, check that the wheels are locked and firmly attached.
• Before the start of every journey, check that the connector on the bicycle is firmly attached.
• Always strap in your child.
• Beware of risk of pinching by moving parts of the Multi Trailer.
• Always ride around bends at walking pace.
• Reduce your speed on slopes.
• The recommended maximum speed on level roads is 20 km per hour.
• The recommended maximum speed on bends or slopes is 8 km per hour.
• The Multi Trailer should be used on a smooth surface.
• Ensure that the child cannot become caught in the rear wheel of the bicycle.
• Always transport baggage in the compartment at the back of the Multi Trailer, and not in the Multi Trailer
with the child.
• Only use the Multi Trailer in a technically faultless condition.
• Repairs to the Multi Trailer should only be carried out by professionals.
• Twinny Load advises that the child should always wear a safety helmet.
• Always ride with the mosquito net zipped onto the Multi Trailer.
• Check the welfare of your child frequently during the journey.
• Do not leave your child alone in the Multi Trailer.
• Put the brake on the Multi Trailer when parked.
• Only one child must be placed in the Multi Trailer.
• Do not make adaptations to the Multi Trailer yourself.
• Only use soap and water to clean the Multi Trailer.
• Always apply the brake when placing and removing children.
