3.1.10 Now it’s safe to unplug the device.
3.2 Windows® 98 SE Device Driver Installation, Plug, Copy Files and Unplug
Windows® 98 Device Driver Installation.
3.2.1 Windows® 98SE does not support Mass Storage Driver, please install correct
driver before using the Red Rock MMD.
3.2.2 Do not insert Red Rock S21 MMD first.
3.2.3 Place the CD-ROM into the drive.
3.2.4 Locate the program “Setup” (
) from the folder “
\Red Rock S21 Driver_V1.0
” in
the CD-ROM and launch it by double-clicking.
3.2.5 Follow the program’s instruction to finish the installation.
3.2.6 Please reboot the computer after the driver installation is completed.
Plug and Play
3.2.7 Insert the Red Rock MMD into the USB port of the computer. The device will be
automatically recognized by system and the drivers allocated for it.
3.2.8 Double-click “My Computer” from the desktop and a new “Removable Disk” icon
can be found in that window if the device driver was installed correctly.
Download Music Files to Red Rock MMD
3.2.9 Select the music files from folder of your computer.
3.2.10 Downloading these files via “Copy-and-Paste” operation into the Red Rock MMD.
3.2.11 The device can recognize and playback music files in MP3, WMA and WAV
format. However, the device can also serve as a USB Flash Disk Drive and store
files in other format.
