Setting the Paper Thickness Lever
Your MSP 450 Champion is capable of printing multi-part stationery, up to four
copies (including original). You can set the paper thickness lever
accordingly
and take multicopies.
To print in multi-part stationery, the printhead must be adjusted to allow for
the extra thickness of the paper. For proper print quality the gap between the
printhead and the paper should be maintained at a constant level. Paper
Thickness Lever helps to keep this gap constant.
When you open the Top Cover of the printer, you can locate a yellow colour
lever on the right side. Move the lever towards you to increase the gap. A
sticker is provided that indicates the recommended gap setting for different
multi-part stationery.
