The maximum pressure differential is based
on the difference between the inlet pressure
and the outlet pressure. The maximum
pressure differential shall not be exceeded.
Exceeding the maximum pressure differential
will cause serious damage to the equipment
and could cause bodily injury.
WARNING

The maximum allowable working pressure
(MAWP) is based on the absolute pressure of
the blower housing and is NOT the maximum
allowable pressure differential. Exceeding
the MAWP will cause serious damage to the
equipment and could cause bodily injury.
To permit continued satisfactory performance, a
blower must be operated within certain approved
limiting conditions. The manufacturer’s warranty
is, of course, also contingent on such operation.
Maximum limits for pressure, temperature, and
speed are specified in
Table 4-2
for various
blower sizes when operated under the standard
atmospheric conditions. Do not exceed any of
these limits.
