CARE AND CLEANING
Protect your Element II from shock, excessive temperatures,
chemical attack, and tampering. Protect the lens against
scratches with a transparent Instrument Lens Protector. Small
scratches will naturally disappear underwater.
• Soak and rinse the Element II in fresh water at the end of
each day of diving, and check to ensure that the areas
around the low pressure (depth) sensor (Fig. 100a) and
button are free of debris or obstructions.
• To dissolve salt crystals, use lukewarm water or a 50%
white vinegar/50% fresh water bath. After removal from
the bath, place the unit under gently running water and
towel dry before storing.
• Transport your unit cool, dry, and protected.
INSPECTIONS AND SERVICE
Your Element II should be inspected annually by an Authorized
TUSA Dealer who will perform a factory prescribed function
check and inspection for damage or wear. To keep the
product's warranty in effect, this inspection must be completed
one year after purchase (+/- 30 days). TUSA recommends that
you continue to have this inspection performed every year to
ensure it is working properly.
To Obtain Service
Take your Element II to an Authorized TUSA Dealer.
