4.2.3 Generic device and QuickConnect disabled
The procedure:
In the
Controller Organizer
, right-click on
Ethernet
to display a drop-down menu.
Click
New Module
to open the configuration page
“Select Module Type”
Enter
“Generic”
in the search area, highlight the
Generic Ethernet Module
and click
Create
Enter the
Name
,
Description
and
IP Address
in the
New Module
page
Select the
Input Data
– INT
data format in the
Comm Format
field
Enter the
Connection Parameters
as seen in the following figure
Click OK and download configuration

Verify the
QuickConnect
status using web server; it should be
Disabled
