36 Exceptions
A call has not been answered within a preset time:
If a call has not been answered within a certain time (call ca‐
tegory call and emergency calls: 2 minutes, call category
code blue / cardiac alarm: 30 seconds), the call will be for‐
warded to all rooms of the ward with staff presence. If further
calls are raised before the first call is cancelled, these calls
are also forwarded to the whole ward. This concerns all new
calls, until all calls are cancelled. After that the calls are only
forwarded within the own zone.
Ward coupling:
As soon as ward coupling is enabled, the shifts in the wards
involved are disabled. While ward coupling is active, no shift
can be enabled in the wards involved.
