Case 2
You want to sow rape 14 kg/ha

Check that in the upper right corner of the sowing chart the correct bottom valve position is
given to be ‘1’

Study the small sowing chart

Start from the left corner of the little sowing chart from point 14 kg/ha

Move horizontally along the 14 kg/ha line to the right until you reach the intersection point
of that line and the delineator ‘rape’.

From the intersection point go vertically to the lower scale which shows that the correct
setting of the main scale according to the chart is 1 and that of the hand wheel scale 6

Check that at the upper left corner of the small sowing chart there is ratio II. In transmission
you thus must use the setting for small seeds, which you get by moving the spring cotter
from the 22 toothed chain wheel to the 41-toothed chain wheel (see sowing chart).

After having carried out the adjustments it is advisable to carry out the calibration test in order to
ensure that the seed quantity is correct.
