If you installed a gravimetric filter into the DustTrak
™
monitor and are; therefore, using the DustTrak
™
monitor
to obtain a gravimetric sample, the flow rate used to
compute the concentration should be 2 L/min, not 3 L/min
since only 2 L/min of aerosol flow reaches the filter.
•
To ensure proper fit into the DustTrak
™
gravimetric holder,
TSI
®
recommends using conductive, polypropylene,
2-piece 37-mm cassette housings.
9. Compute the new calibration constant, NewCal, using the
