Switching the camera on / off
Click on the menu button (Fig. 1, 5) to switch the camera on. The LCD screen (Fig.1,
6) shows the number of photos that you can take. The camera will switch itself off
automatically after 30 seconds of inactivity.

Press menu button until “
OFF
” appears if you want to switch the camera off. Then
press the exposure button (Fig. 1, 1) to switch the camera off.
4.5 Taking
photos
Note
:
The quality of the photograph depends on the illumination. The more light,
the better the quality of the photograph.
Note
:
The number of photographs that can be taken depends on the number of
colours and the brightness of the object to be photographed. Photographs
of colourful, bright objects require more memory than photographs of dark
objects in dark surroundings.
Note:
The image viewed through the viewfinder may be slightly different to what
is recorded through the lens.
Note:
Do not touch the lens. Touching the lens will affect the quality of the
photographs.
Switch the camera on. Press the exposure button to take a photograph.

:
The standard capacity depends on the resolution and the compression
mode. This is also given in Table 3.

Press the menu button until “
” appears on the LCD screen.
If you now keep the exposure button pressed in, the camera will keep on taking
photos until you release the button or until the memory is full.
Note:
If you don’t press the exposure button within five seconds, then the
camera will go back to the normal mode.
Note:
Sound is not recorded.
4.7 Automatic
exposure
1.
Press the menu button until “
” appears on the LCD screen.
2.
The 10-second timer release can then be started by pressing the exposure
button.
The camera gives a short beep every second and finally a long beep that indicates
that the photo has been taken.
Note:
The timer release will not work if the memory is full.

Changing the image resolution
1.
Press the menu button until you get to “
Hi
” or “
Lo
”. Either “
Hi
” or “
Lo
” is
showing on the LCD screen.
2.
Press the exposure button to select the new resolution.
