Fixing ring for the
wrist strap
Fix the wrist strap supplied with the camera to this
ring. The wrist strap will prevent you from
accidentally dropping the camera.

Lens
Records the image to be taken.
Note:
Keep the lens clean. Dirt and fingerprints
affect the result.

Macro mode
You can select the macro mode using the ring
which surrounds the lens. Rotate the ring to one of
the two options.

Macro mode:
select this mode to take close-up
photographs (at a distance of 55 cm to 80 cm).

Normal mode:
select this mode to take
photographs of the surroundings or people (at a
distance of 160 cm to infinity).

Flash
Use the built-in flash to give the subject extra
lighting if it is in dark surroundings.

Description
Capture mode
When in this mode, you can take
photographs with the camera.
Video mode
When in this mode, you can record video
clips with the camera.
PlayBack mode
When in this mode, you can view
photographs and video clips on the LCD
screen (J). You can also delete any
photographs or video clips you do not wish
to keep.
Full battery power
The batteries are full.
Low battery power
The batteries are almost empty. Replace the
batteries.
Battery empty
The batteries are empty. The camera will
turn itself off. Replace the batteries
