Using the camera
4.1
Inserting the batteries
1.
Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera by sliding the
cover slightly to the side and then opening the flaps (see figure 2).
2.
Insert the two AA alkaline batteries provided with the camera as shown in
figure 2. The position is also shown on the inside of the battery holder.
3.
Close the battery compartment again by pushing it closed and sliding it into
place.
The TRUST 820 LCD POWERC@M ZOOM is now ready for use.
Note:
Inserting the batteries incorrectly may cause damage to the
camera. The warranty will then no longer be valid.
Note:
Standard
AA
NiCd batteries are unsuitable for use with this
device.
Note:
You can also use rechargeable AA NiMH batteries (minimum
1800 mAh) with the Trust 820 LCD PowerC@m Zoom.
Note:
The batteries will not be recharged when the camera is
connected to a USB port on your computer.
4.2
Inserting a SD/MMC memory card
The Trust 820 LCD PowerC@m Zoom has a 16 MB internal memory. This memory
can be expanded up to a maximum of 128 MB using a SD or MMC memory card (not
supplied).
Follow the instructions given below to insert the optional SD/MMC memory card into
the camera.
1.
Open the flap for the memory slot on the bottom of the camera (see figure 3).
2.
Insert the SD or MMC memory card into the slot, as shown next to the slot
(see figure 3).
3.
Press the SD or MMC memory card fully into the camera and then close the
flap. Open the flap and push the memory card again if you wish to remove it.
Note:
There is only one way to insert the SD/MMC memory card into
the slot. Do not force the card into the slot. This may damage
both the camera and the SD/MMC memory card.
Note:
The SD/MMC memory card must be formatted before taking
photographs. See the following chapters for more information.
