Power cord grips used in this product: Type”Y”.

Assembly design in this product causes insulation to be affected

by liquid spills or splashing.

Before gaining access to terminals, all

power circuits shall be disconnected.

We do not recommend using power cord

extensions with compressors.  Using that type of

extension cause power drops resulting in motor potency loss

and overheating.  Instead of using an extension cord increase

the compressor’s action scope connecting a longer hose into

the outlet. Connect additional hose lengths as needed.

DESCRIPTION

Compressors not using oil are designed for the “Do It Yourself”

mode for a large variety of jobs at home and for automobiles.

This type of unit works with no oil. Compressed air produced

in this tool could cause humidity.  Set a water filter or a dryer

if the application needs dry air.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY GUIDELINES

This MANUAL has important information that shall be

understood and learnt. This information is meant for your

SAFETY and to PREVENT PROBLEMS WITH THE UNIT. To learn

about this information follow the following symbols:

Indicates an imminent dangerous situation which

if not avoided could cause death or important injury.

Indicates a potentially dangerous situation which

if not avoided could cause death or important injury.

NOTE:

Indicates there is important information which if not

followed COULD damage the unit.

ALERT:

Do not operate the unit if damaged during shipment.

Damaged units could cause explosion, and damage to property

and injuries to user.

Breathing air alert.  This compressor is not built

and should not be used to deliver high-quality breathable air.

SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Since the air compressor and other components could produce

high pressure pumping, please use care and follow these caution

measures:

1.  Follow all local safety and electricity regulations.

2. Only people agreeing to follow this safety operation rules

shall use the compressor.

3. Inspect regularly all the brackets for an adequate adjust.

The compressor parts might be hot even tough

the unit is no longer being operated.

4.  Keep fingers away while using the compressor.  Moving and

hot parts are a hazard of injuries and / or burns.

5.  If the unit starts vibrating abnormally TURN OFF the motor

and immediately double-check what is the cause.  Usually

vibrations could mean a dangerous situation.

Never remove or try to adjust the safety valve.

Keep the safety valve free of paint or any other type of

accumulation.

NOTE:

Do not spray flammable materials near flames or

explosive sources, including the compressor.

6.  Do not smoke when spaying flammable substances.

7.  When spraying wear a mask. Work in ventilated areas to

prevent health problems and fire.

8. Do not aim spraying materials towards the compressor.  Set

the compressor as far away as possible from the spraying

area to minimize substance accumulation into the

compressor.

9. When spraying or cleaning with solvents or other toxic

chemical substances follow the instructions indicated by

the chemical substance manufacturer.

ASSEMBLY

Important: Set the compressor in a ventilated, clean area where

room temperature is not higher than 98.6 ºF

Set the compressor where there is 18” minimum space around

it and the wall. Objects up close may block ventilation.

Do not set the compressor air intake near areas

exposed to fumes, paint, sand or any other type of

contamination.  These types of substances could damage the

motor.

CONNECTION TO THE MAIN POWER SUPPLY

The compressor shall be set as close as possible to the main

power supply. Double-check the power supply matches the

voltage indicated in the motor nameplate.

                     This unit must be grounded.

The power cables are coded with the
