Start up
• Disconnect the unit from the power source.
• Loosen the 2 screws on the base plate with the
Allen key included.
• When the screws are loose, adjust the base
plate into the desired angle with the serrated
guide in the shoe.
• Tighten the screws back.
• Immediately put the Allen key back in its
holder in the power cable protector.
Adjusting the cutting angle
• If the tool gets too warm, especially when used at low speed, set speed in the highest speed and run it unloaded two or
three minutes to cool down the motor.
• Avoid prolonged use in very low speeds.
• For an easier job, start cutting with low speed. Then set to the right speed.
• The blade cuts in its upward trip. It may cause the upper side of the wood to splinter. Take care that upper side of the
wood will not the visible when you finish the job.
• Occasionally you may see sparks through the vent slots. This is normal and will not damage the tool.
