Approved shielding gases of the same quality from other
manufacturers can be used.
■
The information regarding the shielding gas quality can be
taken from the respective data sheets of the manufacturers.
Establishing shielding gas connection
Note
The gas connection must be carried out by a welding specialist.
1. Connect gas cylinder.

Connect machine to a central gas supply with ring pipe-
line.

If necessary use a filter as there is a particular risk of
contamination in the ring pipelines.
2. Open the gas supply.
3. Press GAS-TEST on the power source display to set the
required gas quantity on the pressure reducer.
After pressing the GAS-TEST button, gas flows out for 30 s.
Press again to end the process prematurely.
4. Set gas pressure to max. 7 bar.
