Using The Welder
1. Use ground clamp to connect the grounding cable.
The ground clamp is the cathode (-) in the circuit
and completes the circuit between the welder, the
welding gun and the project. It should either be
clipped directly to the piece of metal being welding
or onto a metal welding table.
2. According to metal specification, adjust the position
of “MIN/MAX” and “1/2 ” switch.
3. Check the position of power switch, position must
be on “OFF”, then plug the unit into the a suitable
electric socket. Voltage is 230 or 115 VAC, rated
current of socket
≥
15A.
4. Discharge the nozzle cover and contact tip at the
head of welding torch, pull the soft pipe.
5. The welding tongs that clamp the rod can’t be
contacted with any grounding objects once you
have ascertained that this is not happening, turn
the conversion switch to voltage position (the same
with input voltage) the power lamp (green) will
light.
6. Press and hold the torch button until the distance
between wire and welding torch is 30mm, loosen
torch button.
7. Close the power; fix the contact tip and nozzle
cover onto the welding torch. The wire must
through the contact tip and nozzle cover.
