First-Time Configuration of the Wireless Print Server
To configure the PocketPro USB Wireless print server for the first time
from a computer via an 802.11b wireless connection, you will need to
temporarily change the settings on your computer to match the default
settings of the print server as follows:
Wireless Mode:
Ad-Hoc
(sometimes referred to as Peer-to-Peer)
Channel:
11
SSID (or wireless network name):
printer
You should now be able to configure your print server using either the
ExtendView Utility or the Web Browser Configuration as described in
the previous sections.
NOTE: Be sure to set your PC back to its original wireless settings
after you finish configuring the PocketPro USB Wireless print server.
NOTE: For detailed information on using the WebXAdmin Utility,
refer to the
TROY PocketPro USB Administrator’s Guide

PDF format on the TROY PocketPro USB Installation CD).
NOTE: It is not necessary to change your computer’s settings if you
are configuring the print server’s settings via an Ethernet connection.
NOTE: Refer to the wireless security addendum (provided in print
with the PocketPro USB wireless print server and is also available
from the TROY web site at
http://www.troygroup.com

security configuration instructions.
