Speed selection
The required speed depends on the material and the operating
conditions and can be determined by way of field-testing.
•
Select a low level for soft materials or screws that are easy
to move.
•
Select a high level for hard materials or screws that are
difficult to move.
•
For drilling and screwing, select the drilling setting
indicated by the symbol
.
•
For impact drilling, select the impact drilling setting
indicated by the symbol
.

When unscrewing, note the setting of the rotational
direction! The clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation
direction indicator (11) indicates in which direction the
screws will be rotated.
Do not use the impact drilling setting
for screwing!

Note that the speed is limited by the on/off switch,
which can only be pressed down to the set speed.
Selecting the operating mode
The function selector switch (3) is used to select drilling or
impact drilling operating mode.
Notice
Only actuate the function selector switch when the
device is at a standstill! Otherwise the device might be
damaged.
