
QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS:
The charger is programmable to charge different battery types and is preset at the factory to match the
batteries installed. If batteries are replaced with a different style or brand, the program may need to be
changed. See section on reprogramming.
The charger will work from a 120 or 230 volt 50-60HZ supply. Before using, remove the fuse access
cover and make sure the fuses are set to the correct voltage.
If the charger is connected to the battery pack, and meter is switched to volts, battery voltage should be
displayed. 48 is the nominal voltage of the pack, the number maybe much lower than this if the pack is
very dead.
Plug the charger into AC power. The charge status LED should flash red for about 5 seconds, then
switch to solid red.
