7.5.2 Format SD Card
To format SD card, all files will be lost after format. Login to the camera, under Settings>Storage>Format
SD card
Note: The SD card format can take a few minutes depending on the size of the SD card. After the SD card
is formatted, the Format SD card page will temporarily display status as "Not Ready" even the format page
display “format successfully”.
Click “system” menu on the right top of the setting page, the storage status will display the real status of
the SD card after formatting
The Camera supports FAT32 format only, such as 16GB & 32GB micro SD card, camera can automatically
recognize the micro SD without format. If the SD card is exFAT or non-FAT32 format, such as 64GB, 128GB
or 2TB micro SD card, you need to format it on your camera first. After format, the SD card status is “not
ready” under Format SD card menu.

Please note: When inserting the card, remember to turn the power off from the camera, insert the card,
and then power it back on. It is advised to insert the microSD card before any other setup begins as the
card will not be recognized if inserted once the camera is turned on. Every time the card is re-inserted,
you will need to turn the power off and then on again for the card to be recognized.
Errors can only be fixed by reformatting the Micro SD on your camera or on your PC using the formatting
tool from
