Maintenance and Adjustment
Headlight Adjustment - Horizontal
1. Headlight mounting nut
The horizontal beams of both headlights can
be adjusted individually. The same procedure
is used to adjust either headlight.
Switch the headlight dipped beam on.
Slacken the headlight mounting nut.
Adjust the horizontal position of the headlight
to give the required beam setting.
Tighten the nut to
30 Nm
.
Repeat for the second headlight.
Re-check the headlight beam settings.
Switch the headlights off when both beam
settings are satisfactorily set.
Headlight Bulb Replacement
Release the three fixings and remove the
front panel from the fuel tank.

Warning
The bulbs become hot during use. Always
allow sufficient time for the bulbs to cool
before handling. Avoid touching the glass
part of the bulb. If the glass is touched or
gets dirty, clean with alcohol before re-use.
Caution
The use of non-approved headlight bulbs
may result in damage to the headlight lens.
Use a genuine Triumph supplied headlight
bulb as specified in the Triumph Parts
Catalogue.
Always have replacement headlight bulbs
installed by an authorised Triumph dealer.
