Originals and Paper Sizes
This section explains the notation used in this guide when referring to sizes of originals or paper sizes.
As with A4, B5 and Letter, which may be used either in the horizontal or vertical direction, horizontal
direction is indicated by an additional letter R in order to indicate the orientation of the original/paper.
* The size of the original/paper that can be used depends on the function and source tray. For
further details, refer to the page detailing that function or source tray.
