12.4.4 Open/Close RS-232 Link

The Open/Close RS-232 Link commands allow you to open and close the link between the computer sending RS-

232 commands and the KVM. When the link is open, the KVM only accepts RS-232 commands and will not respond 

to front panel pushbuttons, OSD, hotkeys and remote control commands until the link is closed. The link opens when 

you login and closes after 2 minutes if no command is sent.
