Maintenance Contract
TripleAqua recommends a maintenance contract with your
local service agent which provides regular maintenance
of your installation by a specialist trained in servicing your
equipment.
Regular maintenance ensures that problems are avoided
and minimizes the possibility that malfunctions will occur.
It also ensures the maximum operating life and efficiency of
your equipment.
10.1 General requirements
Each indoor unit may have its own unique operating
environment and conditions which indicates a maintenance
schedule that may differ from other equipment on the
project. A maintenance schedule and an individual unit log
should be maintained. This schedule will help maximize the
performance and service life of each unit.
The air filter(s) is the main and only maintenance
replacement item. In addition, cleaning and checking is
needed. All fans and valve actuators have permanently
lubricated bearings so no further field lubrication is ever
required. Do not lubricate fans or motors.
If the motor/blower assembly ever may require more
extensive service, only decide to replace the fan with an
original spare part.
10.2 Planned maintenance
Service panels are provided to allow access.
Check fan wheel. Dirt and dust should not be allowed to
accumulate on the fan wheel or housing. Failure to keep
this part of the unit tidy may result in an unbalanced wheel
condition which can lead to a damaged fan wheel or motor.
The fan wheel and housing may be cleaned periodically
using a brush and vacuum cleaner, taking care not to bend
the fan blades and to remove any factory applied balancing
weights on the blower wheel blades.
Tighten any set screws that may have loosened due
to vibration. Any blower or motor that is not properly
maintained will not be covered under the manufacturer’s
warranty.
The air filter needs regular replacement. See 10.4
The controller counts the filter usage in running hours and
air quantity filtered. If a filter needs replacement, the remote
controller will show a warning.
The TripleAqua fan coil has an ultra-efficient air filter,
cleaning the air of dust and pollution. It is able to filter out
micro particles and polls as small as 5μ (0.005mm)!
The filter use is counted by the controller. When the FI:LT
sign is shown shortly, it is a warning as it is time to schedule
a filter change soon. Meanwhile, the unit may operate
normally. Replace the filter soon by a fresh and original
TripleAqua filter to guarantee clean air. The filters cannot be
cleaned. It is made of recyclable material. Dispose the filter
according to local regulations.
If the filter warning is ignored, FI:LT is to be shown
permanent and the unit capacity is reduced significant.
After a preset number of revolutions in P41, the unit send
out a filter replacement request pre-warning text to the RC.
On the time line the text F I : L T will appear shortly every
5 second but the unit(s) will continue to operate normally.
Filter warning can be reset by the building manager in
parameter P 40 and by pressing for more than 10 sec.
NOTE
Once the filter has been replaced, do not forget to reset
the filter counter.
Press
for more than 10 sec.
