USING THE TONE
(Does not apply to the Beagler
XL
,
Flyway Special
XL
, or the Upland Special
XL
.)
Some Remote Trainer models can make an audible tone
coming from the collar. The chart on pages 4 and 5 shows
which Remote Trainer models include this feature. The
meaning of the tone is determined by your dog’s training.
It can mean a particular command, a warning, praise, etc.
The training materials that came with your Remote Trainer
describe the use of this feature in more detail.
Tone Button
The transmitter light is also a push-button. To activate the
tone, press this button. The intensity knob must be on a
number other than 0 (zero) for the tone to work. If the
intensity knob is on 0 (zero), pressing the tone button
turns the collar on and off (page 11).
USING THE BEEPER
(Upland Special
XL
Models Only)
Pressing the button on the top of the transmitter turns the
Beeper on or off at a distance. The intensity knob must be
on a number other than 0 (zero) for the button to operate
the Beeper. If the intensity knob is on 0 (zero), pressing this
button turns the collar on and off (page 11). For complete
information about using the Beeper that comes with the
Upland Special
XL
, see the separate Beeper manual included
with those models.
On selected models
the light on top of
the transmitter is a
push-button that
operates the tone
or the Beeper.
