To turn the collar off, repeat this process. The collar light
will make one long red flash to indicate that the collar is
now turned off.
After turning on the collar, it is a good idea to move the
intensity knob to a number other than 0 (zero) so you don't
accidentally turn the collar off when correcting the dog for
the first time. However, at times when your transmitter
might be accidentally bumped against objects during use, you
can leave the intensity knob turned to 0 (zero) to prevent any
possibility of an unwanted stimulation.
Turning the Remote Trainer On and Off
(1) Hold transmitter close to collar (up to 10 feet apart)
(2) Set transmitter intensity knob on zero.
(3) Hold any transmitter button down for about 5 seconds.
(4) Watch collar light for confirming signal.
(5) Turn intensity knob to a number other than zero
for training.
You can also turn a collar off by placing it on its charger. This
feature allows you to turn a collar off if you cannot find its
transmitter or the transmitter batteries have run down.
