3. Check the quality of the ingredients and the integrity of the packaging before using.
4. The amount of lactobacillus to be used is indicated in the package.
PREPARATION
1. Pour 1 liter of fresh milk in a pan and, maintaining a low flame, stirring until it reaches 42-44°C
temperature, the ideal to facilitate the transformation of lactose into lactic acid.
2. Pour the powder of lactobacillus (the proportion with milk is 1:500, for more information, please see the
packaging), or the plain yogurt (125ml for 800ml of milk) in a glass.
3. Take 200ml of the milk just heated and add to it the powder or the yogurt, mixing well until the
solubilisation. At this point, pour the mixture into the remaining milk and mix well.
4. Pour the mixture of milk directly into the glass containers (4).
NOTE: to help fermentation, expecially in case of soymilk, it is suggested to add one spoon of sugar.
OPERATION
1. Place the yogurt maker on a flat and stable surface.
2. Wipe the inner part of the yogurt maker with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
3. Place the container, without its lid (3), with the mixture inside the unit and close the lid (2).
4. Connect the appliance to the power outlet. The operating lamp (6) will light on.
5. Allow the container to rest for 10-12 hours, according to the density you want to reach.
6. Once completed the operation, remove the container and let it cool a few minutes at room temperature
before storing in the refrigerator.
NOTE
: to ensure optimal results, do not move yogurt maker for any reason and don’t open the lid during use.
GREEK YOGURT
Greek yogurt is more dense. To obtain it, after making normal yogurt, you must filter the exceeding liquid:
- Take the small container and put the filter in it.
- Pour the yogurt just prepared with the above procedure in the container with filter.
- Close the lid and put in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Take out from refrigerator:

The part in the filter is the greek yogurt. Store in a sealed
container

You can get rid of the liquid part in the container or use as
protein add in bread and soups.
CLEANING
Unplug the unit and wait until the complete cooling down of each part before starting cleaning
operations
.

Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the unit, as this may scratch the surface. Clean the appliance with a
damp cloth or sponge and mild soap. Thoroughly dry all parts before using the unit again.

Do not immerse the main body (5) and the power cord in water or other liquids.

Wash the container, the container lid (3) and the cover (2) by hand with dishwashing detergent and rinse
with tap water.
