Electrical Safety

Power Supply

The electric motor has been designed for one
voltage only.  Always check that the power
supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating
plate. Machines marked for 230 volt can also be
operated from a 220 volt supply.

The T4 is double insulated. Double
insulation eliminates the need for the
three wire system. Grounded power cord
and grounded power supply.

Double insulated tools are equipped with a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other.) This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way.  If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician to install a
polarized outlet.  Do not change the plug in any
way.

The label on your tool may include the following
symbols.

Never connect the live (L) or
neutral (N) wires to the ground
pin marked E or    .

Using an Extension Cord

If an extension cord is required, use an
approved triple core extension cord suitable
for the power input of this tool (see technical
data).

When using a cord reel, always unwind the
cord completely.
