a) Connect the

to a USB port of your PC.
b) Back up all the important files on your
i.Beat xtension
onto your PC.
c) You can update the
i.Beat xtension
with the most current firmware from the internet (on the TrekStor
homepage at http://www.trekstor.de).
d) Download the firmware (*.zip-file), and unzip it to a folder of your choice.
e) Follow the attached update instructions.

Turning the device on and off
Turn on the
i.Beat xtension
by briefly pressing the
C
button. To turn the
i.Beat xtension
off, hold the
C
button for approximately seconds.
Note: Make sure that the
q
switch has been moved to the left, i.e., that the button lock is turned off. If the
button lock is activated, the button lock symbol or a corresponding message will appear.
Different modes
The
i.Beat xtension
has different modes. To go to a mode, hold the
i
button for approximately one
second. Press the
E
or
F
button to select the desired mode, and confirm by briefly pressing the
C
button.
Leave the menu by pressing the
i
button.
Mode: Music
Switch to the "M

" mode.
Playback
Briefly press the
C
button to start playing back an audio file.
Pause
Briefly press the

button to stop playback. Repress the

button to continue playback.
Change track

button to select the next song. Press the
